Callum O'Dowda, born on 23 April 1995 (age 31), is a Republic of Ireland international whose senior career first gathered real pace at Oxford United. His best league return came there in 2015-16, when he scored eight goals in 38 appearances, a tidy output for a player who has since been used primarily on the left side of the pitch.
He is now with Ferencvaros, where he is listed mainly as a left back and wears squad number 47. In 2026-27, he has made five Nemzeti Bajnokság I appearances, five more in Europa League qualifying – scoring once – and two in the Europa League proper. Across all competitions for the Hungarian club, he has 12 appearances and one goal.
O'Dowda's career has taken him from a productive spell at Oxford to a role at Ferencvaros, with his later work more grounded in the demands of the flank than in headline attacking numbers. It is a solid, practical career arc rather than a noisy one.
