Bruce Anderson, born in Scotland on 23 September 1998, struts his stuff for Kilmarnock as a forward donned in the number 19 jersey. At the age of 27, he stands 5ft 10in (1.78m) tall and weighs 12st 1lb (77kg), making him a formidable presence on the pitch.
Anderson's journey into the world of professional football began in earnest in July 2015, when he joined Aberdeen as a trainee. Here, he would spend several seasons honing his skills and contributing to the team's efforts. In the 2018-2019 season, Anderson made 14 first team appearances in the Scottish Premiership alongside scoring two league goals. His appearances the following season fell slightly to 11, netting him one goal in the league matches. The 2020-2021 season saw a further drop in appearances in which he graced the pitch just six times.
In quest of additional playing time and experience, Anderson was loaned out to several other teams. His initial outing was with Elgin City in August 2017, where he made 14 appearances and drilled six goals in his debut season. January 2018 saw him return to Aberdeen briefly before departing again on loan, but now to Dunfermline Athletic in January 2019. The following season provided another variant of the tale, as Anderson was off to Ayr United and then Hamilton Academical. Throughout these loans, he managed to maintain a consistent presence in the competitions.
His consistent performances led him to move to Livingston in July 2021, where he quickly became a key figure in the squad. Across three full seasons, he clocked up an impressive ton of appearances and delighted fans with 24 league goals. Notably, his final season at Livingston saw him with 34 appearances and seven goals.
The next chapter of Anderson's football career began in July 2024 when he completed his transfer to Kilmarnock. He settled in quickly, scoring 11 goals in 30 appearances during his first season. For the ongoing 2025-2026 season, Anderson has already shown his consistent form by making 14 first team appearances and lending two goals to Kilmarnock's tally.
Aside from the league fixtures, Anderson has made his mark in various cup matches. In the 2025-2026 League Cup for Kilmarnock, he achieved one goal in two starts and in four appearances coming off the bench. During the Scottish Cup 2024-2025, he also added an appearance as a substitute to his resume.
