Ben Broggio, born in England on the 29th of January 2007, is a midfield prodigy treasured by many on the terraces at Falkirk. Now tipping the scales at 19 years of age, Broggio has honed his talents in the centre of the park, primarily as an attacking midfielder. With a height of 5ft 11in (1.81m) and weighing in at 11st 11lb (75kg), he's a sturdy presence in the midfield melee. You'll readily note him in the number 11 jersey, a fitting figure compared to his weight and height statistics.
Broggio's journey in football hasn't been linear. In July 2022, he was embraced by the ranks of Aston Villa as a trainee, hoping to make his mark on the Premier League. As fate would have it, his path led him from Villa Park's verdant ground to the Scottish Premiership's grittier pitches. He found a new home, temporarily at least, at Falkirk when he was loaned to the Scottish club in February 2026.
During his stint at Falkirk, Broggio's name was listed in the starting eleven for three crucial matches in the historic Scottish Cup 2025 - 2026 season. Details of his contributions to the games, or memories of his displayed skills and endeavours, however, are not provided in my current resources. Thus, one can only speculate at the influence this young English prospect had on the fate of the cup, a significant contribution no doubt.
