Bailey Rice, born on 4 October 2006 (age 20), is a Scottish central defensive midfielder now with Kilmarnock. His senior career to this point is still shaped mainly by Rangers, where he made 10 league appearances across three seasons.
Rice broke into the senior picture at Ibrox as a teenager, with his first league outing coming in 2022-23. The spell was modest in scale but important in profile, and it also brought a League Cup win. For a young midfielder, that is a decent enough line on the CV, even if the substance of his career is still being written.
He has since moved on to Kilmarnock, wearing squad number 49. In 2026-27, he has made seven league appearances and added three more in the League Cup, giving him 10 appearances in all competitions for the club.
Rice remains an established professional at an early stage of his career: Rangers gave him the main platform, and Kilmarnock are now giving him the minutes to build from there.
