Alfons Amade, born on 12 November 1999 (age 26), is a Mozambique international midfielder with Dunfermline Athletic, where he wears number 14 and operates mainly in central midfield.
His best scoring return in league football came with Oostende in 2021-22, when he scored twice in 18 appearances. It was a modest enough haul, but for a midfielder whose value is not built on numbers alone, it remains the clearest attacking marker in his senior record.
By 2026-27, Amade remained a regular part of the Dunfermline first team. He has made 25 appearances for the club across all competitions, including nine in the Championship, five in the League Cup, four in the Scottish Cup and four in the Premiership play-offs.
He has also been active for Mozambique, with three Africa Cup of Nations appearances and eight World Cup qualifying appearances this season, scoring once in qualifying.
Amadeβs career has settled into that of an established professional midfielder: useful at club level in Scotland, still involved internationally, and continuing to get regular football rather than drifting to the margins.
