Alex Lowry

Alex Lowry of Motherwell was born in Uddingston, Scotland on 23 June 2003 (age 23).

Alex Lowry, born on 23 June 2003 (age 23), is a Scottish central attacking midfielder at Motherwell. His earlier senior career also brought a Scottish Cup win, a useful line on the CV without needing to dress it up as more than that.

At Motherwell, the 2026-27 season has been his most productive league campaign so far. He has scored three goals in nine league appearances, with one League Cup appearance and four Conference League qualifying appearances taking him to 14 games and three goals across all competitions for the club.

Lowry’s career has settled, for now, around a more regular attacking midfield role at Motherwell. The numbers this season are modest but tangible: games, goals, and a bit of European qualifying experience.
